the South Norwallt water commission-
ers urgently requesting their consum-

water. This is in order. and has be
come necessary for the reastm that
more water is wasted than is legiti-
mately used nnd that consumers are
many times heediess. and allow leak-
ing fixtums to exist. often for months
and in coma cases tor years. Many
consumers imagine that it is just as
well tor the water to so to waste
down their sewer pipes as to let It
waste over the splilways at our reser-
voirs. There may be something in
this during the flood season. but when
summer arrives and the water ceases

vital question with us.
