ed here today that the principal col-
ton manufacturers throughout New
England, after a careful investigation
of trad.- conditions, have. decided to
continue the curtailment of the nor-
mal production 25 per cent. for anoth-
er three months.
The probable demand for cotton
goods has been carefully Inquired Into.

belief of the manufacturers that a
continuance of a curtailment Is abso-
lutely necessary to avoid overproduc-
lion.
