cent adoption, Chairman Kenesly of;
his friends to work for his nomina-
tion. There was a strong disposition
among the republican leader. to nomi-

the delegates for his nomination. But
when he heard of the‘movement he
forbsde his friends to encourage it,
saying that he would not take the
nomination if it were tendered him.

tion was Senator A. J. Sloptlr, of New

with Mr. Kencsly when both were

of 1901. Senator Bloper . was very

Kenealy had positively declined to be
a candidate for governor. "Kenealy is

ably totally, in coasting accidents in
Greater Pittsburg during the pant 21
