yesterday afternoon. while passing

sprang without the least warning and
sank three of his teeth deep into the

Central Labor Union Lyceum for gym-
nasium and auditorium purposes. The
club now has nearly 80 members. and
the Lincoln Day banquet is looked for-
ward to with keen pleasure. This will
12th and will be a very elaborate af-
fair. The list of the members who de-
sire to attend will close on Thursday

MONCTON, N. 9., Feb. 4.—-ln an in-
sane frenzy, Mrs. Thomas V. l-‘oucettc
snatched her two years old child from
bed early today, carried it out doors
and dashed its brains out on the icy
ground. Rushing back into e house
she picked up another of her children
and started out with it. but was discov-
ered and restrained before she reach-
ed the door. The woman was at one
time an inmate of an insane asylum.
but was supposed to have recovered
from her mania. Her husband Is em
ployed In the workshops of the Inter-
colonial Railroad dlere. Besides the
child she killed today, she has seven
other children.
