BRIDGEPORT, Jan. 25.—Edward
Butler, tor msny years editorial writer
on the Bridgeport Farmer, died at, the
Bridgeport Hospital Thursday night of
kidney troubles and heart disease.
He was stricken at his desk in the
Farmer oilice six weeks , and taken
to the hospital. where e gradually
became weaker until the end.
Mr. Butler was born in italy on No-
