Wood, of Philadelphia, was called to the stand as the first witness in the Thaw case today. Dr. Wood some years ago made an examination of Ha'rrlet Alice Thaw, a relative oi the defendant. District Attorney Jerome objected to the physician's testimony. but was overruled by the court, as the relation of attending physician and patient did not exist In this case.
