The disturbance that was central in
Texas yesterday morning has moved
northeastward and is now central in
Arkansas. It is producing cloudy and
rainy weather in the central Mississip-
pi Valley and western portion of the
lakerreglon. The front edge of the
rain area extends as far east as Clu-
cinnati, 0. Little Rock. Ark.. report.-
cd a rainfali of 5.88 inches during the
past 24 hours. An area. of high pres-
sure over New England is producing
cool, pleasant Weather in the eastern
