The streets about the center of the
city Were crowded with spectators, red
i'll‘e burned brightly in front or most
of the stores and a general jubilee was
in promess when the Norwalk, East
No1walk and South Norwalk firemen
”paraded through the principal streets
before going to attend St. Josephs
fair in Red men’ 11 Hall. The com-
panies were all splck and span in their
natty uniforms and there was a goodly
attendance. Many very favorable com-
ments who made on their appearance.
They Were: accompanied by the Ame-
1ican Band which discoursed martial
music which was much appreciated by
all who heard it.
I After the parade the firemen went
to the fair where they enjoyed the am-
usemsnts ihete provided. The atten-
dance at the fair last night was a re-
c‘md breaker for the week and it‘ was a
very jollyl occasion.

Between the acts of ”Vice Verso,"
Master Willie O‘Connor rendered vocal
selections and Mrs. Patterson recited
some selections, which made 11 great
hit with her audience.
The next. feature was the singing of
the Indian song “Redwing,” by sixteen
0f the members. This was illustrated.
Next came some tableaux, which were
enthusiastically applauded. The re
maindcr of the evening was spent in
dancing.
