Under the present scheme, the booth
arrangement is different than former-
ly. Instead of the booths adjoining
each other, each booth is an unattach-
ed structure of Moorish architecture.

John Keougll. n Norwulk mun. whose
home is at 11 Leonard street, attempt-
ed to commit suicide last night. and
today is at tile Norwnlk Hospital, pon-
dering over his unsuccessful effort.
While the man's intentions might
have been serious, the vehicle he used
for self destruction did not do it good
job. Keough stabbed himself three
times in the left. breast with a snlnll
pen knife and used the same instru-
ment to slash himself several times
over the left wrist.
The wounds in the breast. were but
slight and he tild not reach an artery
at. the wrist. Captain of Police Thom-
as Hunt was called into the affair and
Dr. William J. Tracey was sent. over.
A telephone message was also sent
for the ambulance and Keough was.
taken in it to the hospital. At that in-
stitution his injuries were dressed by
Dr. S. H. Huntington. A little plaster
was all that was necessary.
Keough claimed that he had not
drunk any liquor in three days. He
is an unmarried man, is apparently
about thirty-five years of age. and has
been employed considernbly in the
yards of the Huhbell, Hull and Randall
Lumber Company in Norwalk.
