the American Brass Company in this
city, Torrington and Waterbury were
preparing for a shutdown of an in-
definite period was disparaged by a
high official of the company in this
city today, he characterized the whole
thing as street talk and said the com-
pany would continue to operate its
mills as long as the orders came in.
