questioned by the lawyers in regard
to the tiling ot the original will with
the surrogate court in New York and
he cleverly evaded ally attempt at
giving them information that they
seemed to be seeking. He said the will
was iiied September 17, but by whom
he could not state as he had only been
on the case but a short time. and he
also admitted ‘that there had been an
application for a. bearing tiled. but
there was no date set. At a question
