boy returned to his home.
Arrangements are being made to
form an orchestra in the Nutmeg Club.
Already the orchestra is assured of
nine pieces. The club is taking much
interest iii the matter. and it is ex-
pected that the club's own orchestra
will furnish music ‘for some of the
dances this fall.

baseball player, who is playing this

AMHERST, Mass, August. 19.——Mrs.

ground early today. and Mrs. Hincklcy
and her son narrowly escaped being
burned to death. Mrs. Hinckley's soil
Gordon. 13 years old, was awakened
by the fire and in making his way from
his room on the top floor to warn his
mother, had his feet terribly bllsicrcd.
The house was valued at about $3,000.
