vice. They were with regular army
men and officers, and saw a great
deal that interested them. Col. Fitch
said that he heard that Major Hurley,
of Bridgeport, was very much interest-
ed in the. work that he saw at Fort
Terry, but. he bud not heard from the
other oiliccrs.
