Garfield avenue, Dunbury, after an
illness of five days. Death was due ‘0
pneumonia. Mrs. Smith was the wi-

merly a well known resident of Salem
Center, N. Y. She was a native of

held on Saturday afternoon at 3

East Norwulk Cemetery.

The largest real estate deal that
has occurred in Norwalk in several
months was consummated yesterday
afternoon when the firm of Bishop &
Lynes purchased outright from Charles
Leonard the extensive coal, wood.
cement and brick‘ yards they occupy
in Water street.
The property has a frontage. of 300
feet. in Water street and extends east
clear to the harbor. The Danbury
Branch of the New York. New Haven
and Hartford Railroad Company runs
through the property and a spur track
has recently been secured and has al-
1ea1ly been laid. The dockage front. is
300 feet. in length also. The firm
therefore has unlimited facilities both
by water and rail.
The. amount represented in the
transaction is not made public. the
deed of sale simply affouiing the hi-
