would say In explanation of his con‘
duct.
Judge Clark an! the case was rather
a quandary, as the man merited severe
punishment and yet the family should
not he left to stiffer. He sent Seidner
to Jail for three months and told him
that if he beat his wife again he would
be arrested and a much more severe
punishment meted out to him.
Judge Clark said that he would call
the attention of the charity board to
the family so that they would be tak-
en care of while the husband is ser-
ving his time.
