The funeral of Mrs. James W. Hoyt
who died of pneumonia. in Meriden,
of. the home of her daughter. on Feb-
ruary 7th. after a residence there of

will take place. Mrs. Hoyt,,was born
in New York city. the daughter of
the late Joseph B, and Harriet Scrib—
ner. The. family moved to Norwn‘k
many years ago. and Mr. and 'Mrs
Scribner become charter members of
the South Norwslk Methodist. Church
where Mr. Scribner was for mnny
years a class leader. Mrs. Hoyt was
in the sixty-eighth year of her age.
Her life was one. of constant self sac-
' riflce and she was patient and devot
