per cent. Increase In wages. The com-
pany through S, D. Neal, the general
manager, had offered an Increase of
5 6-10, bill the men wanted more. About
250 men are affected by the strike. Mr.
Neal has asked the strikers to meetl
him this afternoon to talk over the dif-
ferences. He says he thinks the men
do not understand the situation fully.
