pany. which is to put two line shows
on the road this coming season. Is now
rapidly getting ready for the winter
and the Interior of I. M. Hoyt’s Theatre
in this city is a busy place these days.
Under the direction Ofrl’hiiip Levy the
scenery 'is being painted and made rea-
dy for use, elaborate stage fittings of a
very artistic character are being coa-
strnctcd and the swish of the paint
brush and the sound of the hammer re-
sound through the building all day
long.
Most of the people for the two shows
have already been booked and they
comprise some of the people who are
well known to South Norwalk theatre
goers.
The Alhambra Stock Company.
which ih to give repertoire shows. will
have P. J. Martin as business reprov
sentative, and Harry Brown, who was
with Daniel Ryan last season. will be
leading man. Miss Mabel Grilliihs
will be leading lady. Others who have
been booked are Professor Frederick
Webber. who was with the Chester Dc
Vonde Company; Mr. and Mrs, Wil-
liam Newton. .lalnes Doyle and Miss
Janie Wood, who three years ago was
with the De Vonde Company doing
