has issued a btiileil'n calling attention
to the ruin threatened by the gypsy
ninth in this state. The bulletin is
in the form of a warning to Connecti-
cut farmer's. it says:
“The gypsy moth is already in Con»
nectlcut. specimens having been found
at Stonlngton. and the entomologist is
bow hunting and destroying the egg
masses. Everything will be done to exi
terminate the post in this locality.
“There is good reason to fear that
both of these pests will soon bring
havoc to the woodlands of the state.
The gypsy moth attacks all kinds of
trees, including pines and other cone.
