Youthful Greenwich Burglar Was Go-
Inp to Blow Up Jail With
Dynamite.
Yesterday afternoon in the criminal
superior court the case of Thomas
Young, aged 10. and William McillrnVy
youthful offenders who were sent up
from Greenwich for burglarious de-
nigns. were token up for hearing.
Young is the desperate boy who has
threatened to do all sorts of things
since he fell Into the bonds of the
Connecticut authorities. While in the
Greenwich jail be secured two knives
and was trying to cut his way out
when the sheriff appeared. The boy
afterwards confessed that if he had
gotten out he would huve used the
knives on Deputy Sheriff Ritcb in or-
der to escape.

tors turned up at the juil,_und wanted
