The peculiar looking object attracted
him. and he tried to explode it with a
stoiie. It exploded and his right hand
was painfully lacerated and burned
from the explosion. Smell pieces of
tin and gunpowder entered the flesh.
He ran as rushes possible to Cham~
hers drug store, and On his arrival
there fainted away from the pain and
score he had received. Mr. Chambers
administered first aid and sent him to
a physician.
