NEW YORK. Nov. 2.—-—Hydropnoola
caused by the bite of a dog barely a
month old resulted in the death of Ed
ward T. Brunner. a lawyer 22 years
old. of 340 West Eightydlfth street in
Bellevue Hospital yesterday.
The young man was of an extreme
ly nervous temperament and. worry-
ing about the wound. which was only
a scratch. brought on mysterla. Two
days ago he was delirious and attempt-
ed suicide by Jumping from a. window
of the ward where he was confined to
the ground twenty- five feet below. At
first the shock was supposed to have
done him more good than harm, as he
received no injury and seemed to have/
regained his senses. asking at the time
to be taken back to bed. The physic-
ians were not sure yesterday that
hydrophobia was the cause of death.
but Dr. Norris, the pathologist of the
