mer home here. was attacked by a
vicious cow in a pasture near his
home. The cow belonged to Prof.
Francis and has hitherto been gentle.
so far as known.
She suddenly rushed for the boy,
who was his tag in the pasture. knock- '
ed him down, trampled on him. mushe
ed his check and broke his jawbone
and loosened his teeth. The boy Was
otherwise bruised and iniured.
He was discovered unconscious on
the ground shortly after the accident
