The air compressor which is to be

plant. This compressor was; made at
the Norwalk iron Works and is used
to start. the new engine. "
The new American Diesel engine
for the plant has been running at‘the
shop in Providence for the past three
days. The final and official test was
made yesterday afternoon. and Super;
lntendent A. E. Winchester and Corn-

will be immediately taken down and
