the Wolf Pit Hill road, and a force
of men have been employed thcrc
blasting out the rocks and working
them into shape for use in tho ncw
building. Romano and Tony Para-
dise were two of the men engaged in
drilling the holes in the big icdgc.
About. 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon.

the wreckage of the car and automo
bile and so deeply buricd that it took
half- an hour. with the tools from a
street railway repair wagon. to extri-
cate thorn. The engine's speed was
so quickly stopped that a male com-
cupanta of the street car wore thrown
the air to the sldowaik. The driver
was uninjured. Nearly all the oc-
cupanhts of the street, car were thrown
upon the floor. and the conductor was
so severely injured that he was taken
to a hospital.
