Port Chesbcr on the line that has been
surveyed in thirty-one miles. Leaving
Port Chester the lines goes to Scott‘s
corner four miles northwest of New
Canaan. and from there to Ridgetleid.
The line strikes just north of the cem-
tery which is a shortdlstance north of
Ridgefielll street.
0n the way in Danbury the line
takes a direct search to Sugar Hol-
low which it follow. it has not yet
been decided which side of the Sugar
Hollow road the final route will take.
From the Sugar Hollow road It pro-
ceeds across the flat to the Fair
Grounds where it connects with the
tracks of the lligblsnd division.
While to an extent non-committal.
the engineers express themselves as
being confident that the road will be
built soon. W. 1.. Jenkl. who is the
chief engineer. said that the survey
was being made for a first-class read.

will be on a fine roadbed and with
