Headmaster J. H. Smith, of the High-
land division, has a large gang of men
at. work between Sodom and the Fair-
(lrolmds, llnubury, grading the math
way and pulling it in condition for lay-
ing the. new second track. which will
be done very soon. This will connect
the long aldings at Sodom. Mill Plain
and the Fair Grounds, which will give
about six miles of double track before
the entire line ls completed.
As there is no. heavy cutting or fill-
iug to he done along this part of the
line this Work will be pushed along
