Semi-Centennial of the Coming of the
Rev. c. M. Selleck.
Last week was the fiftieth annivcr»
sary of the coming to Norwalk of Rev.
C. M. Selleck. Although not. a native
of the city. Rev. Mr. Selleck has inani-
fested such a deep interest in the his-
tory and welfare of the community
that he is as much and even more of
a Norwalker than many natives.
His careful historical researches
have placed him in a class of his own.
He is respected as a scholar and hold
in the highest reverence as a clergy-
man.

been taken to the Norwalk Hospital

Mrs. M. J. Wiluiartli. of Norwalk, is
to be operated on tomorrow for tumor
at the Hospital.
Michael Barrett was opcrutcd on at
the Norwalk Hospital today by Dr. W.
J. Tracey. .
Miss Winnie Month. agcd fourteen
years of the New Canaan road, was
operated in for appendicitis Sat. by
Dr. Tracey, assisted by l)ri-i. Clark and
Higgins. The case was serious. ow-
ing to the fact that the girl was lit a
week before the operation.

birthday at his home in South street.
