instituted suit against the Edward
Hunter Company, asking $125 as dani-
ages for ,not- getting a commission of
$110. which, he claims is due him from
the company. He alleges that the com-
pany is interested in the "Five. and
Ten Cent Store" business and it prom-
ised to pay him 5 per cent. commission
if he obtained a. store for the concern
which lhe latter should purchase. He
claims he did this. the company pay-
ing $2,200 for it, and the commission
was $110. which has not been paid.
The suit is entered in the court of
common pleas.

Wedding Party Fooled Friends by
Leaving in an AutOmobile.
Thefrlends of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy
S. Millard. whose wedding took place
yesterday noon. intended to give them
a farewell with rice and other convert-
tlonal things when they left on their
wedding I‘our yesterday afternoon. but
circumstances and an automobile
changed the programme unexpectedly
and completely.
At the close of the reception follow-
ing thc wedding. Mr and Mrs. Millard
left the house ostensibly to get into a
coach to be driven to the train. Just,
as they were about to step into the
vehicle. however, Harry B. Mallory's
automobile pulled up at one side. The
chauffeur was in the seat, but he
leaned out of the machine while it
was in motion and Mr. Mallory took
his place. The latter throw his silk
but and frock coat out and hurriedly
donned more appropriati- automobile
garb. Mr. and Mrs. Millard climbed
into the tonneau and before the
sin-sis wore hardly aware of what had
occurred. the automobile disappeared
in a cloud of dual.
A number of friends. thinking the
party had gout- to iietbcl to elude
tin-m and II‘IIVP, there, wont to that
town on tho ruin and. euro enough.
here was the automobile, apparently
waiting. Plenty of rice was at hand
ready to he used with good effect. but
when the train pulled out the bridal
party was tint on it for. after circling
