Lineman Frank Baker Has a Narrow
Escape From Serious Injury.
Frank Baker, trimmer for the South
Nut-walk Municipal Electric Light
plant. had a narrow escape from being
seriously injured. last Saturday. He
was working with Edward \1'. Baker
In Concord street. Mr, Baker. in swing
iug his axe. In some way missed his
calculation. and the back of the axe
struck Mr. Baker on the cheek and lip.
Blood poured from the wound and
Mr. Baker feared at; first that the edge
of the axe had struck his namesake, it
was the butt, however. and when Mr.
Baker‘s face was washed, only a lover
swolilng was left, which was reduced
during the day,
