Edward W. Godfrey met with quite
a serious accident Friday. He was
riding his wheel at a rapid rate down
Thomuss hill and when he reached 11
point half way down the forks on the
wheel broke off throwing Mr. God-
frey Violently to the ground. He was
later picked up by John Brundagc un-
conscious. Mr Godfrey sustained sev-
ersi bud cuts and bruises about the
head and hands;
A rather warm meeting of the Row-
ayton Republican Club was held there,
Saturday night, and political issues
were discussed quite freely. A num-
ber of the voters who through their
own oversight and lack of interest in
affairs forgot to register for the can-
cus list were still somewhat ruffled,
and there was talk of posting Ray-
mond's name over that of Brown for
seiectman. 1 On the other hand the
regular members spoke about the
work that Raymond had done on the
roadsthere, principally on roads bor-
dering on his own reafeetute. Before
the meeting adjourned some very in-
teresting discussions took place.
