The green fields shady woods anti
sparkling waters of the harbor are
very alluring at this time of year, and
to no class of persons more so than
school boys. They certainly dislike to
stay cooped up in school when there
and a cigarette or two smoked away
from the maddening crowd.
Some of the boys who are attending
the public schools have been unable to
resist the allurements of the woods
and fields and have weakly yielded and
played' 'hoOlrey". Notes sent to their
parents were or no avail and State

ants. made a visit to South Norwalk

Rooney and Joseph Malek were arrest
ed on Reform School complaints at his
instance.
The three boys were arraigned before
Judge Joseph it Taylor this morning
in the town court. Two of them look-
ed as if it worried them considerably.

SUIT.
Judge Coats has decided in favor of
the defendant in the suit of A. G.
Browne. of Hartford, against J. W.
Beach of Bridgeport. Mr. Browne is
a contractor, and brought suit to re-
cover 8167. 29. which he claimed to be
due him for drilling two arteaian wells
on Mr. Beach‘s property. The original
contract was for four wells. which
would flow seventy gallons a minute.
Onlytwo wells were driven. and they
did not come up to the capacity re-
quired. The contractor claimed that
the contract wa‘a mended. and that
he lived up to its requirements.
