anchor off Sandy Hook Lightship since

countered dense fog after leaving Nan-
tucket. and when Sandy Hook was
reached. the captain decided to lay at

to Liverpool and their take charge of
the new steamer Baltic. which sails
from Liverpool on her initial voyage
