Walsh will probably be supported again for the State Central Committee. There will probably be no opposition to him in this district. The caucus will also elect a member of the com- mittee on resolutions, a member of the committee on credentials and a mem- ber of the committee on permanent or- ganization. When the. convention re- convenes at 10 o'clock it will act on the reports of tire senatorial caucuses. After this business is disposed of the convention will take a recess till 10 a. m. the next day, when a permanent chairman will be. chosen and a secre- tary. The county delegates will also be chosen and the regular business of the convention will proceed. it is believed that the convention will be a close one and those who are in a position to know, any tlrat the Hearst delegates will be able to put up a very strong figirt. The conven~ tion will be very close and without doubt it will be the most interesting and lively convention ever held by the Democratic party iii this state. The appara- tus was taken to School street, with the exception of the Phoenix engine. which was not taken out of the Main street fire house. The Pioneer truck ladders were us- ed on the Center School building. and the hose companies coupled on to near- by hydrants.
