print ill full, that its contents may be known by'all parties in inter-
est. The proceeding thus inaugurated is to secure from. the Sli-
preine Cellrt a decision upon the legality of the veto of the Gover-
nor of the resolution establishing the town of South Norwnlk, and
will either result in the existence of the new town, or a return to
conditions which existed before the passage of the resolution. The
suit is a purely friendly one, and is believed to be the best proced-
ure to secure a prompt consideration of the case and speedy deci-
sion; which is very desirable, if not imperative. ' Town affairs at
present are very much muddled, and will remain so until the case
is decided. It seems to us that no unnecessary delays should be
occasioned; but that all sections should act concertedly for an ex-
peditious conclusion of the _nlatter.—[Ed.
