ing of the Young People's sootety, at
the ladies' parlor in the Norwalk Con-
gregational church. and made a fifteen-
minute address on “Hospital Work."

ganisation was desirous of helping the
Norwalk institution and accordingly

talk chiefly related to the work accom-
plished by such an institution and the
great good it is capable of if properly
supported. The physician was applaud-
ed at the conclusion of his remarks.

Joseph Collins, of Ansonla. was senten-
ced in the Borough Court today to thir-

to get a seat on the cow catcher. When
the train stopped here. at 12:28 he fell
. from his position thoroughly exhausted
and was picked up by Policeman Mn-
lone and taken to the. lock-up. His cloth-
ing was badly tent. in court today
Collins said he did not know how he
came to be on the cow catcher and
that he. had no memories of his .ride.
