about the place were smashed. a soda-
water sign was stolen and a weighing

About a month ago, a stone weighing
two pounds was thrown through the
window of Mr. Miller's bedroom and
landed in the bed which was not oc-
cupied at that time The stone smash-
ed a panc of glass and tore the win-
dow shade. Mr, Miller said this morn-

bottom and in pulling the horse broke

a lively gait, the post swinging from
one side to the other of the street. The
horse took to tilt! sidewalk in front of

hardt's little boy stood upon the walk.

to the hotel by willing hands and Doc
tors Keeler and O‘Shaughnessy soon
arrived and rendered medical atten‘
tion. Several severe cuts on his scalp
were sewed up, but they found no
bones broken. Mr. Buckley is an old
man and the shock was a very severe
one. Still he has reason to feel grate
fui that no more serious injury result-
