nuai meeting oi the New Jersey Rifle
Association and the fourth annual
meeting ol the United States Revolve:
Association, on the range, is favored
with beautiful weather conditions. The
principal event or the day was the Dry-
dcn Trophy Match, presented by iinlt-
ed States Senator John I“. Drydcn. of
'New Jersby. it is considered next to
the National Trophy Match in import-
ance. ‘
Twelve of the fifteen state and regu-
.ar service teams that competed for the
National Trophy were contestants in
the Dryden match. The teams, how.
ever. consisted of only eight members
each.
The distances were: 200,500 and
1.000 yards, ton shots by each man at
each ran‘ge.
Ncariy all the available targets not
used in connection with the Dryden
match were pressed into service in the
re- -entry individual matches which
have been in progress since the open-
ing day of the meet.
At the conclusion of the tiring at the
200 yard stage of the Dryden Trophy
