be Hosted in Dry Dock.
NEW YORK, Aug. 18.—iloth the
Shamrock iii. and Reliance were read;
at noon to be floated in the dry dock at
Erie Basin to be oiliclally measured for
the New York Yacht Club measure
ments. The bulk of the repairing to

was completed and her crew put the tin-
al polish on her bronze under body.
The injury to the rudder was pro-
nounced by an au‘hority as only a
slight defect near its heel and it nail

Shamrock [11. has been in dock work-

ting some of her sails. One of the
main “sails was recut and tomorrow
the challenger will be taken out for a
