An oil painting representing the sea
was the first thing visible. On this
were placed a number of little ships
each with an initial letter suggesting
the various features of the voyage
across the Sea of Galilee and the whole
made in the form of a cross. The scene
then changed and the oil painting was
seen to be the main sell of a veritable
ship which stood upon the platform.
The name of the ship was “The Other
Side.” and from it was cast out the an-
chor which stood for hope and“ the
chain which wasnfaith, attached to the
rock, which was love. Several appro-
priate selections were rendered by the
Rowayton choir, and the ser‘vicc closed
with an appeal to the children to take
Jesus in the voyage‘ of life the Revs.
