dealt in as a rule hardened a shade
and there were slight declines in some
of the iron and steel stocks. Dealings
were on a very small scale.

having to do with iron anti steel trade.

ABATTOIR PLANT BURNED.
CINCINNATI 0. June 26.——Almost
the entire plant of the Cincinnati Abat-
toir Company was burned this morning.
It is one of the largest slaughtering
establishments in the West. The tire
was caused by an explosion in the en-
glue room. The loss is estimated at
$200,000.
