ant changes in the personnel of the
corporation's officers. Opening prices
for steel common and preferred were
the lowest reached since May 9. 1901.
Later when the steel shares rallied.
the new five per cent. bonds declined
to 83. a drop of 1%. per cent. A mem-
ber of the executive committee of the
l'nltcd States Steel corporation is air—

schedule of prices of finished iron and
steel products for 1904 will show" no
changes from that of this yctir. This
applies to prices of steel rails aiul bil-
