On Tuesday, Isaac Perry saw a
deer near his house in the north part
of Easton. The animal was compara-
tively tame. allowing him to approach
quite near before it bounded avay. So
far as reported this is the first deer
seen in Foirfield County. - It ‘I is sup-
posed that the animal was driven. by
the recent forest tires from its home in
Litchlleid county, where deer are quite
often seen.

Dr. John 1’. Wilson 01' this city to-
movcd from his throat last night
bullet that had been in his head for
live years. Dr Wilson felt a soreness
