Four prisoners. three men and a we—
man. were all the-criminal court of
Common Pleas had for the June term.
which opened Yesterday; The men
all pleaded guilty. but in the. other
case a,jury will be needed unless Ma-
tilda Dixon decides to“ change.her plea.
Mrs. Dixon was fined $100 and costs
by the Bridgeport City Court having
been found guilty of keeping a disor-
derly house in North Washington ave-
nue. Two young girls were alleged to
have been enticed into her place. Mrs.
Dixon was not represented by counsel.
When the court adjourned it was un-
til Tuesday. June 23. at 10:30. when a
jury will be summoned. The prose
cuter also intends to clear the docket
of a lot of bond cases before the ilnai
adjournment for the summer.
Thomas Brennan and George Murphy
of .-Danbury, each pleaded guilty to
vagrancy“. The court gave them 30
due in jail and costs.
Gottfried Fredericks of Bridgeport.
pleaded guilty to breach of the peace.
