Boatbuilder Fowler has almost com-
pleted the extensive repairs that he

These repairs consist of putting in a
number of planks rind building on a
new stern. The boat will soon be as
good as new.
Edward Lockwood, who is in the em-
ploy of Raymond Brothers. has for
some time been at work on an exten-
sive contract for that firm in Marion.
This contract entails the handling of a
great deal of building stone. Yester-
day, in some unaccountable planner. a
very heavy stone fell on the right hand
of M11. Lockwood, crushing that mem-
ber very severely. Medical attend-
ance was called. and he was sent home.
He will not be able tmwork for some
