Frank Raymond. The charge against
him was vagrancy. He importuned a
number of people. among them being
Pbllceman Raymond. who was in plain
clothes. Halt said that he had been at
work in Harrisburg. Pa.. and he had
left there. paying his way as far as
Stamford) He said that he was trying
to get to Bridgeport.'to secure work
in a large factory there. Judge 't‘ay-
ior was merciful and found him guilty.
