tical and mutual.

ion would work great injustice to the
people of Norwalk and to a majority of
its great substantial interests.
1 am samewhat familiar with the
present town of Nonwalk. its people, its
enterprises, Its interests and advan-
rages.
I have patiently listened to and care
fully studied all that has been submit-
ted lo me by those in favor and those
who hrs opposed to the passage of this
resolution.
1 have faithfully tried to Judge right-
ly the consequences that would result
from the division of this town.
i cannot but believe that if each
member of the general assembly had
been in possession of all the informa-

passengers who arrived on the steam-
ship Teutonic, of the White Star Line
today were James J. Hill. president of
the Great Northern Railroad. and his
daughter. Clara. Mr. Hill said he had
