of capitol cmployees was rejected, The
bill appropriating 320,000 to the Merl-
dcu hospital. for improvements in that
institution was reported favorably by
the committee on appropriations.

matters for the. day. Mr. Wells. of
Ncwington, moved that the resolution
passed yesterday incorporating the
“Automobile Livery Company." be re-
