Ray's well-known musical comedy. A
Hot Old Time. was presented to a
large and most appreciative audience
at ,Hoyt's Theatre last evening and it
is safe to say that very few of the
large number were disappointed. The
different members Were entirely at
home in their various parts and for
nearly three hours they kept the large
audience convulsed with laughter.
The coatumes and scenery were fresh
and pretty. the music bright and
catchy and the acrobatic feats of Mar-
lo and Dunham were little short of
marvelous. The next attraction is
Robert Fulgora's All-Star Vaudeville
Company, which will be at Hoyt’s both

has investigated the condition of
Sherman Dudley and wife, of North
Madison, who have suffered for want

what the Consolidated officials or-
pct-ted is because while in the locomo-
tive furnaces it forms into cilnkcrs

them through the grates into the coul
boxes. The clinkcrs are said to be
large, extremely hard and it is diffi-
cult’ to break them into small pieces.
The coal gives a good heat and this
part of its good is not complained of
at all by the engineers. but they have
to go to a grout dcal of trouble in
cleaning out the clinkcrs.
An odicisl of the Air Line division
said that he understood that the road
officials were not satisfied with the
foreign cool they had received and
that he knew for a fact that the coal
formed Into clinkers and caused much
trouble. One of those connected with

though no direct complaints had come
to his notice be had heard that the lo-
