With the completion of the Wll ton pipe line the city would have a sup ply of water from this line alone for eleven months in the year and it was expected the large pond would be kept full all the time. The report showed that the water should not be brought to the city direct and in support of the statement gave a report of the New York Sewerage Commission. The vegetable growth and drouth of the past summer came in for a share of the commissioners‘ report and. the work that was done to keep the supply for the citizens. There was no danger in the water, even in the drouihiot last summer; as had been shown in the report of the state chemist, who had analysed it. There had been one case of typhoid fever on the Beldcn Hill road, but the Health Board had taken drastic mess urea and a spread of the contagion was prevented.
